How to setup and use ScriptTrack
How to create, edit and remove patients
CREATE NEW/EDIT PATIENTS
The patients screen shows all the patients in the system. You can access the 'Patients' screen via the main menu.
You can search through the patients database by entering any of the patients information (names, telephone, surgery, etc).
The amperand/asterisk button in the top right can be used to toggle strict searching. When displaying the ampersand icon strict searching will be on, this means all search words must be found for the patient to see them in the results. When displaying the asterisk icon strict searching will be off, this means any search words can be found for the patient to see them in the results, the best matches will be shown first.
The small clock icon next to the patient indicates that there is a current pending order for the patient.
You can edit a patient by clicking on them and delete a patient by clicking the red cross button.
CREATE A NEW PATIENT
You can create a new patient by clicking the plus button in the top right.
First Name, Middle names, Surname Specifies the patients names
DOB Specifies the patients date of birth (used primarily to distinguish between occupants of the same address with the same name)

Order Date/Collection Date The date to order the patients repeat prescription items and the date the patient will be collecting. Changing one will change the other so that the order date will always be 7 days before the collection date.
Collection Dates Forecast You do not need to enter anything here! This is simply to show you the next few collection dates for the patient.
Delivery Whether the patient has their order delivered.
Active Patient Whether the patient is actively having a repeat prescription, If this is checked the patient will appear in the orders screen on the order dates.
Order Items The order items are explained further on.
Notes Any additional notes you want to make about the patient.
ADDING ORDER ITEMS
Clicking on the order items will show a pop up with all the items for the patient. You can click 'Add Order Item' to add a new item for the patient.
You can search for items to add for the patient by typing in the search bar. If you are unable to find an item, you can type the full name into the search bar and click the 'Create...' button that appears.
Once an item is added you can then see it in the patient order items pop up. If you wish to remove an item you can click the red cross button next to it. Clicking the pencil icon will allow you to rename the order item (This will rename the order item throughout the system, it is not just for the patient).
