How to create, edit and remove items from the drug database
For time saving and consistency we store a list of order items (drug database) for you to choose from when assigning order items for a patient. You can access the 'Order Items' via the main menu.
You can search the drug database using partial word searching to save time. For example typing 'ASP 100' will find 'Aspirin 100mg capsules'.
ADDING AN ORDER ITEM
In the unlikely event that you are unable to find what you are looking for in the order items, you can create a new order item by typing the full name in the search bar and clicking the 'Create...' button that will appear directly below.
RENAMING AN ORDER ITEM
You can rename an order item by finding it in the list and clicking the pencil button on the right hand side.
REMOVING AN ORDER ITEM
You can remove an order item by finding it and clicking the red cross button on the right hand side. This will remove the order item from any patient who has it in their order items.
