How to use the pending order screen
PENDING ORDERS SCREEN
The pending orders screen shows all the orders that have been placed and not yet completed. The small 'A' icons in the list indicate that these orders are non-repeat prescription orders (Adhoc Orders).
You can access the 'Pending Orders' screen via the main menu.
UPDATING AN ORDER
When an order is received and all items are not present for a patients prescription you can simply update the order. Click on an order to update it.
You can check off the items that have arrived and click the save button to update it. The pending order will remain in the list until it is completed.
In the order items list there are plus and minus buttons next to each of the items, this will allow you to add and remove items from the order. You can also check items that are not meant to be part of the order to note that you have received something that was not requested.
You can also reprint the order by clicking the print button in the top right.
COMPLETING AN ORDER
Completing an order works is the same as updating, however you will need to click the 'Complete' button. Once an order is completed it will disappear from the 'Pending Orders' screen and move into the 'History'.
